An overview by Jude Carroll, author of A Handbook for deterring plagiarism in Higher Education, on the changing nature and extent of student plagiarism, covering topics such as the impact of technology, recent changes in attitudes in institutions and suggested mechanisms for dealing with the issue. The presentation highlights the importance of tackling plagiarism in the context of teaching and learning.

An FE perspective on plagiarism and detection software

An interview with Sandra Peacock, formerly Curriculum and ILT Manager at Newcastle College. The video includes consideration of the particular challenges of plagiarism associated with the diverse range of students traditionally enrolled in Further Education, as well as the use of plagiarism detection software in the FE context.
